Max Verstappen for Red Bull took first place in the United States Grand Prix on Sunday. Lewis Hamilton for Mercedes, followed by Verstappen’s teammate, Sergio Perez, took second and third. The battle between Verstappen and Hamilton intensified late in the race due to pit stop strategies – they finished the race only seconds apart! Verstappen currently has a 12-point lead (285.5 points) ahead of Hamilton (275.5 points) following the race.
