Intercity Istanbul Park Circuit hosts the next F1 grand prix race on Sunday, October 10th. Designed by Hermann Tilke, the track cost $40M to complete and has many similarities to Spa, Interlagos, and Leguna Seca Circuits. The 58-lap track hosted it’s first grand prix race in 2005 and is most known for the design of Turn 8, “an incredibly fast, bumpy, multi-apex downhill left-hander that’s a proper test of drivers’ commitment” (Formula 1.) The lap record is held by Juan Pablo Montoya from 2005!
