The next grand prix race is hosted by the Hungaroring Circuit near Budapest, Hungary on Sunday. The circuit is known for its lack of straights, with F1 teams opting to prioritize downforce over horsepower. Drivers will compete for placement over 70 laps and a total race distance of 306.63km. The lap record is held by Lewis Hamilton (2020) with a time of 1:16.627.
Work began on the circuit in 1985 with the track being completed just nine months later. Hungaroring Circuit hosted it’s first grand prix in 1986.
